Using PaymentSense

If you wish to use PaymentSense  with Magento (or indeed any other supported cart software) in "Direct Integration" mode. Please raise a support ticket and we'll open up the required ports in the firewall.

Please note, you'll also need an SSL certificate and dedicated IP address which can be bought during ordering your hosting or purchased as an addon later.

From the PaymentSense Inegration Guide.

Direct Integration

Customers’ card details are taken directly on the merchants’ site. This method provides the best user experience for the customer. From a developer perspective this is the most flexible way to connect through the PaymentSense Gateway.

Two things to bear in mind with this method are:

  • SSL is required on the server/domain
  • Port 4430 must be opened on the server for outgoing data traffic
