Installing Magento

Magento

We've installed it for a number of clients on our 'dingo' server which has all the system requirements in place to enable Magento installation.

Magento's official install guide is here in their knowledgebase

If you're comfortable with the ssh command line, we currently recommend following the instructions here in their wiki rather than the current web based installer.

If you'd rather we installed it for you, raise a support ticket and we'll happily do it for free. Make sure you tell us where you want it installed such as in a subdirectory or your root eg. http://www.yourdomain.com/shop/ or http://www.yourdomain.com
